Tomahawk Retrievers is a professionally run kennel by Darren and Jennifer Danielson offering training, boarding, and breeding of Labrador Retrievers.  We are located in Hawkins, Texas which is 20 miles north of Tyler, Texas, and 90 miles east of Dallas, Texas.  We offer a safe and clean enviroment while your companion is with us, and we train on over 500 acres of hunting land to give your retriever the best possible experience for learning our offered programs.

At Tomahawk Retrievers, we offer a variety of training programs from basic obedience to finished level hunting or hunt test dogs.  We train retrievers to be well mannered hunting companions.  Whether you have a puppy, a young dog ready to begin training, or a seasoned dog needing some maintenance, we can design a program specifically made for your hunting companion.

Tomahawk Retrievers also has a breeding program that produces quality labrador puppies from excellent bloodline pedigrees.  We strive to produce genetically sound, great looking labrador retrievers, and it is our goal to enhance some of the finest bloodlines.  Check out our "Puppies for Sale" page to browse our current litters.
